PPS’s President, Jon B. Selander has experience in executive management, design, construction and operations of all components of pipeline systems, including SCADA controls, pressure/flow control, metering, odorization, pipeline construction/operations/repair, cathodics, safety programming, hazardous materials remediation/handling, research/development and risk assessment. A graduate of Steven’s Institute of Technology, he previously worked for a gas and electric utility, CH Energy, and then an engineering firm, the UAI Group. Jon has developed a team of goal oriented professionals focused on driving complete client satisfaction.

Precision Pipeline Solutions is organized by complimentary expertise. We have two Centers of Excellence: Operations and Safety & Compliance Consultation. This ensures our personnel working on our client’s projects are experts at their respective field.

Our leadership in each center is progressive and has the authority to make the decisions necessary to provide services to our clients in the spirit of our mission, vision and values.

Operations – This Center of Excellence provides full turnkey Operations, Maintenance and Construction to the natural gas, propane and water industries. Our team’s extensive experience allows us to provide a varied degree of involvement; from pilot programs through full operations of our client’s systems.

Through a unified approach to customer satisfaction and project support excellence we have developed several long-term operations and maintenance programs and partnerships.

Safety & Compliance Consultation – This Center of Excellence is focused primarily on our internal operations to continue our commitment to provide service at the highest level of safety and continued performance in accordance with all Federal, State and Local codes. With our proficiency in integrity management, code interpretation, procedure development, and program implementation we offer all-inclusive consultation to utilities and pipeline owner/operators through this Center of Excellence.

The Vice President and leader of Safety and Compliance Consultation is Michael Rhodes. Michael Rhodes has over ten years experience in safety and compliance management. With the New York State Public Service Commission, Michael provided oversight and guidance for the development and implementation of operator qualification programs, reviewed and analyzed operations, maintenance, construction, damage prevention, risk assessment, corrosion control, system design and emergency procedures in addition to accident/incident investigations of jurisdictional pipeline operators. He has been responsible for PPS’s dynamic programs such as operator qualification, safety and drug policies.
